COUNCILLORS Lisburn City Council is served by 30 Members who were elected in May 2005 to serve for a four-year term. The Council carries out its business through a Committee system. Each Committee has an elected Chairman and Vice-Chairman. With the exception of the Personnel Committee, all Council Committees are open for the public to attend. The Council's Committees meet on a monthly basis and all decisions made must be approved at a Full Council meeting,which normally takes place on the last Tuesday of each month.
