Lisburn City Council is the lead partner in the Lisburn-Castlereagh PEACE III Partnership covering the Lisburn City Council and Castlereagh Borough Council areas.
The Partnership is implementing Phase One of the Lisburn-Castlereagh PEACE III Local Action Plan, part-financed under Theme 1.1, "Building Positive Relations at the Local Level" of the EU's PEACE III Programme. The Special EU Programmes Body is the managing authority for the PEACE III Programme in Northern Ireland and the Border Region of Ireland. The Lisburn-Castlereagh PEACE III Partnership is comprised of 14 Elected Representatives and 11 Social Partners from across the cluster area.
The Partnership is at the moment putting together a bid to secure a second phase of PEACE III funding for Lisburn and Castlereagh for the period 2011-2014. Your ideas and comments are essential. Details can be found on the Phase 2 2011-2014 webpage.

The Lisburn-Castlereagh PEACE III Partnership has been invited by the SEUPB to prepare and submit a bid for funds for Phase Two - the period 2011-2014. The bid has to be submitted by the end of April this year and Lisburn City Council has appointed Blu Zebra Consulting to provide independent consultation on what can be learned from Phase One 2007-2011 and what peace-building needs should be addressed in Phase Two.
