MAFV holding graphic Lisburn City Council will be launching its seventh ‘Mayor’s Awards for Volunteering’ scheme in January 2012.

This scheme has been designed to provide recognition for the outstanding work carried out by volunteers within the Lisburn City Council area.

The event is run in partnership with South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust, South Eastern Education & Library Board, Bryson Charitable Group and Volunteer Now. It will culminate in a Gala Awards ceremony on Thursday 24th May 2012 in the Island Hall, Lagan Valley Island, hosted by the Mayor of Lisburn, Councillor Brian Heading.
