AMUSEMENT PERMIT

In accordance with the Betting, Gaming, Lotteries and Amusement (Northern Ireland) Order 1985, the council can grant an amusement permit.

The current fee is £32.00, with an annual renewal fee of £32.00.

The council can impose conditions regarding:

  • number of gaming machines,
  • requiring the premises to be illuminated,
  • notices and information to be displayed,
  • advertising and window displays permitted.

A fire certificate and appropriate planning permission must be in force for the premises before an amusement permit can be granted.

An application form is available to download.

The application to the council must include the completed form, the fee, 3 sets of plans, and 2 references.
