BUILDING CONTROL SERVICES The Council's Building Control Services offers a diverse range of services. Activities range from the management of Building Regulations, from planning inspections to site inspections to completion certificates. The Unit is also responsible for petroleum licensing, street naming, postal numbering and property certificates. Building Control also offers an advisory service including pre-submission consultation, fire-safety advice and access issues in relation to the Disability Discrimination Act.
