Petroleum Licensing
The service provides a Petroleum Licensing function in accordance with the Petroleum Consolidation Act 1929, and currently provides licenses to approximately 60 outlets within the Borough. Licences, issued on a yearly basis, carry a fee set by the Department of the Environment
Quantities of Petroleum-Spirit to which fees relate:
FEES WITH EFFECT FROM 6th April 2007
| New Quantities of Petroleum-Spirit to which fees relate | New Fee |
| Not exceeding 2,5000 litres | £39 for each year of Licence |
| Exceeding 2,500 litres, not exceeding 50,000 litres | £54 for each year of Licence |
| Exceeding 50,000 litres | £111 for each year of Licence |
| Transfer of Petroleum Spirit Licence | £8 |
