MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS
The Marketing and Communications Unit has a wide range of responsibilities. As well as providing a supporting role in marketing activities it also incorporates the Council's internal Graphic Design Service.
The production of corporate publications, media management, event management and the co-ordination of the Freedom of Information Act fall within the remit of the Unit.
Internal and external communications are also the responsibility of the Marketing and Communications Unit and it has been responsible for the development of both the internet site and the Council's intranet site.
The Marketing and Communications Unit provides marketing support to Lisburn City Council. The Unit's in-house graphic design service is based here.
The Unit has responsibility for:
- Dealing with media enquiries
- Communications both Internal and External
- Event Management - Christmas Lights Switch On
- Corporate publication production - CityWide Magazine & the Annual Report
- Overseeing Internet content
- Lagan Valley Island Centre Management
