THE FACILITY As well as being Lisburn City Council's administrative headquarters this impressive four-storey complex contains a purpose built theatre, conferencing and banqueting facilities. The stunning Island Hall, (20m x 23m in size) can seat 402 persons for theatre events and conferences. For wedding receptions or banqueting it can accommodate 250 guests. The facility also contains Projection/Audio Visual Control Room, Changing Rooms and a Green Room for hospitality requirements. There are six permanent breakout rooms in Lagan Valley Island, which can be used for smaller functions.

The Green/Alder Room has the capacity to accommodate 50 persons theatre style and 40 for dining. The Wedding Room (Cherry Room) can also be booked for business needs. Lagan Valley Island is open seven days a week and the facility can be booked during the day, in the evening and at weekends. Our on-site technicians are dedicated to ensuring your event is run to the highest standards with state-of-the-art theatre and conference audio-visual equipment. Technical Details A full complement of flipcharts, TV, video, projection, lecterns, display and smart boards, overhead and data projector equipment is available as are fax and photocopying services. Seasoned amateur groups and professional theatre companies regularly hold productions and musical events at Lagan Valley Island. The Island Hall has seen productions of Fiddler on the Roof and My Fair Lady as well as many local and international performing artists including Peter Corry, Perm State Ballet, George Jones, Elvis tribute (Gary Gibson), Flash Harry and many more.
