NEW PROGRAMMES
The following programmes will be launched in 2012:
1. Business Improvement Through Environmental Solutions Programme (BITES)
This is a business development initiative designed to help businesses reduce waste and energy, boost profits and help the environment. BITES is designed to help businesses increase their competitiveness and sustainability through more efficient use of and management of resources including water, waste and energy. 2. Employment Growth Programme
This programme aims to assist first time employers through a period of growth and to minimise the risk factors that might otherwise deter them from expanding. This programme will be launched in early 2012.

3. Lisburn Procurement Programme
This provides a programme of support to enable local businesses to effectively tender for public goods and services in N Ireland, RoI, UK and Europe. 4.Inspire Programme: Recruitment is open
This programme is aimed at stimulating and increasing the numberof new start up businesses in the City of Lisburn who operate within 6 key markets namely; eHealth, Protective Textiles, sustainable Construction, Recycling, bio-based products, renewable energies.
